Most stove repairs are performed on site and at minimal cost (i.e. fire rope replacement, fire cement application etc) We also offer stove restoration at additional cost. Surfaces around the appliance will be covered with sheets when sweeping and stove glass cleaner will be applied FOC. After sweeping and hoovering, smoke testing is then performed and once completed successfully you will be issued a certificate of work.
This includes stove and flue cleaning/sweeping with the most up to date rotary sweep equipment. Sweeps will most often be performed through a foam block to fit the size of the stove doors ensuring your property is kept looking the way it did!
All of the above performed although will be slightly more time consuming.
Basic repair and maintenance will often be performed free of charge or with the customer covering the trade cost of the item used. For complete or part restoration services please enquire and we can discuss what is the best action to take and provide a more informative guide to the total cost.
Full inspection and sweep of the system. Smoke test preformed and certificate provided for work achieved
Inspection of fire surround and sweep of flue. Fireplace will be hoovered whilst ensuring the fire opening is kept sealed (with either foam or dust sheets) whilst work is performed.
All of the above although will be slightly more time consuming
This service is dependent on size and initial state of the chimney. We will usually use manual push rods as a vast number of these types of fireplaces are old and we feel rotary sweeping isn't always necessary when preservation of the structure is also important!
Please give us a call to discuss anything you wish and we'll always be happy to help!
